eternal. everyday.
How do we keep an eternal perspective while living on earth? Here are a few suggestions: Start each day by praying that God will use you for his purposes. Make it your ambition to please God in everything you do—whether you are packing your children’s lunches, running a company, or volunteering at church. Each night, thank God for the opportunities he’s given you to serve him by serving others.

Living a holy and godly life not only ensures that you are at peace with God and with others, it also ensures that you are ready for whatever may come (see
2 Peter 3:8–14).

C. S. Lewis sums up the drama of human history as one “in which the scene and the general outline of the story is fixed by the author, but certain minor details are left for the actors to improvise. It may be a mystery why He should have allowed us to cause real events at all; but it is no odder that He should allow us to cause them by praying than by any other method.” Prayer is a designated instrument of God’s power, as real and as “natural” as any other power God may use.

overflowing. everyday.
In his final prayer in John 17:1–26, Jesus prayed that his disciples would experience the full measure of his joy—now. He prayed for us to have his joy in the middle of rush-hour traffic, screaming kids, and a darkening world. He doesn’t want us to wait for heaven to be full of joy.

Jesus’ joy has a divine purpose: to reveal him. He desires to fill us with overflowing joy, to proclaim his victory to the world over life’s worst conditions—even in the face of hurricanes, plagues, terrorism, and nuclear disaster.

God will speak to us through creation if we’ll only listen. If you feel like your time in front of books or listening to sermons has become stagnant, grab a coat, pick up a walking stick, and step outside into a school that never closes (see Psalms 19:1).

possible. everyday.
God is in the shadows in many ways, but He is also in the bright light of what His servants do every day. My prayer is that He will find me faithful, and that until He calls me home I’ll be willing to go anywhere, to bear any burden for Him, and to recommit to Him afresh. It’s a tall dream, and without His strength it cannot be done. Yet with His strength, all things are possible. (see Matthew 19:26).

destiny. everyday.
Life is not merely a geographical journey—not just east to west, or north to south. There is also an up and a down—God’s way, or our way. My prayer for you is that you, too, will see it His way, both in the shadows and in the light. There is no greater discovery than seeing God as the author of your destiny (see Galatians 2:20). –

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit

blasphemy challenge

Lord of all grace and mercy,

I urge and pray that you would reveal your spirit of truth and love each one of those who have so commited a blasphamy against you.  God, break down the strongholds of the enemy that are holding them in bondage.  May these people come to know that you are the One True God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  May your love and mercies fall on them as your good will is carried out by your Holy Spirit and the church.

In the promise of 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

I would urge all other believers to pray concerning this antichrist agenda straight from the pit of hell.

Peace and may God richly bless you and keep you in His grace.

Amen.
